DJ Comp 1 (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the website https://djcomp1.com and the Coach Sazz health tracking application (the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit, register for, or use the Service.
By using the Service, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide to Us

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide when you:

Register for an account (via email and password, Google sign-in, or Facebook sign-in):

Email address (always required — used as your unique account identifier)
Password (only if you register with email; hashed and stored securely)
Display name (optional)

Use the Coach Sazz health tracking features:
Weight (lbs) and weight history
Blood pressure (systolic/diastolic in mmHg) and pulse
Blood sugar (mg/dL) and A1C
Diet entries (foods, portions, calories, macros)
Water intake (oz)
Notes and timestamps for each entry

Provide payment information: Stripe handles all payment data directly. We do not store your credit card number, CVV, or full bank details. We receive only the last 4 digits of your card, the card brand, and the card expiration date from Stripe.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you visit the Service, we automatically collect:

Log data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring URL, pages visited, and timestamps.
Cookies and session data: Used to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
Encrypted data backups: All your health data is stored in our encrypted database. The encryption key is unique per user and is required to decrypt your data — we cannot read your data even if we wanted to.

1.3 Information from Third-Party Sign-In Providers

If you choose to sign in with Google or Facebook:

Google: We receive your Google email address, display name, and profile picture. We use these to create or find your Coach Sazz account. We do not access your Google contacts, calendar, Drive, or any other Google service.
Facebook: We receive your Facebook email address, display name, profile picture, and Facebook user ID. We use these to create or find your Coach Sazz account. We do not access your Facebook friends, timeline, posts, photos, or any other data.
We store the third-party user ID (Google ID or Facebook ID) as a one-way link in your account so you can sign in again with the same provider in the future.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Provide and maintain the Service: Create your account, store your health data, display your dashboards and trends, sync your data across your devices.
Authenticate you: Sign you in via email/password, Google, or Facebook.
Process payments: Manage your subscription via Stripe (handled entirely by Stripe — see https://stripe.com/privacy).
Send you transactional emails: Account confirmation, password reset, payment receipts, subscription expiration notices, important service announcements.
Provide customer support: Respond to your questions, troubleshoot issues, process data deletion requests.
Improve the Service: Analyze usage patterns to fix bugs, optimize performance, and plan new features. This is done in aggregate — we do not profile individual users for advertising.
Comply with legal obligations: Tax records (Stripe receipts), law enforcement requests (only when legally required).

We do NOT:

Sell your personal information to anyone, ever.
Share your personal information with third-party advertisers or ad networks.
Use your health data to train AI models or for any purpose other than providing the Service to you.
Send you marketing emails unless you explicitly opt in.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:

Service providers: We use Stripe (payment processing) and Google/Facebook (sign-in only). These providers receive only the minimum information needed to perform their service and are bound by their own privacy policies and data processing agreements.
Legal compliance: If required by a valid subpoena, court order, or similar legal instrument issued by an entity with proper jurisdiction, we will disclose the minimum information necessary to comply. Where legally permitted, we will notify you before disclosing your data so you have an opportunity to challenge the request.
Business transfers: If DJ Comp 1 is acquired or merges with another entity, your account information may be transferred as part of that transaction. You will be notified in advance.
With your consent: Any other sharing will require your explicit permission.

4. Data Storage, Security, and Retention

Storage location: Your data is stored in our WordPress database hosted with a reputable managed WordPress provider. All data is transmitted over HTTPS.
Encryption at rest: Your health data is encrypted in our database using AES-256 encryption. The encryption key is unique per user and is required to decrypt your data.
Retention while active: We retain your data as long as your account is active. You can export your data at any time as a CSV file from the Coach Sazz dashboard.
Retention after account closure: If you delete your account, we delete your personal data from our active database within 30 days. We may retain encrypted backups for up to 90 days for disaster recovery, after which they are permanently deleted. We retain billing records for 7 years as required by tax law (handled by Stripe).
Data deletion requests via Facebook: If you signed in with Facebook and request data deletion from Facebook, we honor that request by deleting your Coach Sazz account and all associated Facebook link data within 30 days.

5. Your Rights and Choices

You have the right to:

Access your data: View all data we hold about you at any time through the Coach Sazz dashboard.
Export your data: Download all your data as a CSV file at any time.
Correct your data: Edit your account information and health entries directly in the dashboard.
Delete your data: Delete your account at any time from the dashboard. If you signed in with Facebook, you can also request deletion from Facebook’s app settings.
Opt out of marketing emails: Use the “Unsubscribe” link in any marketing email (we only send marketing emails if you opt in).
Data portability: Request a machine-readable copy of your data (CSV export covers this).
Complain to a supervisory authority: If you’re in the EU/EEA, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

6. Cookies and Tracking

We use a minimal set of cookies:

Authentication cookies: To keep you signed in.
Preference cookies: To remember your settings (active date range, age group, weight goal, etc.).
Session cookies: To maintain state during multi-step flows (sign-up, payment).

We do not use:

Third-party advertising cookies (Google Ads, Facebook Pixel, etc.)
Cross-site tracking cookies
Analytics cookies that identify you personally

7. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not intended for children under 13 (or 16 in the EU/EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has created an account, please contact us and we will delete the account.

8. International Data Transfers

If you are located in the EU/EEA, UK, or Switzerland, please note that your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States, where our servers are located. We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) for such transfers and apply additional safeguards (encryption at rest, access controls) to protect your data.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email and/or by posting a notice in the Service. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects when this policy was last revised. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

11. Specific Disclosures for Facebook Users

If you signed in to Coach Sazz using Facebook Login:

We receive your Facebook email address, public profile (name, profile picture), and Facebook user ID.
We use this data solely to authenticate you and personalize your account.
We do not post to Facebook on your behalf, access your friends list, access your timeline, or share your data with any third party.
To request deletion of your Facebook-linked data, visit https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=applications, find “DJ Comp 1”, and click “Remove”. We will process the deletion request within 30 days.

12. Specific Disclosures for Google Users

If you signed in to Coach Sazz using Google:

We receive your Google email address, display name, and profile picture.
We use this data solely to authenticate you and personalize your account.
We do not access your Google contacts, calendar, Drive, Gmail, or any other Google service.
To revoke Coach Sazz’s access to your Google account, visit https://myaccount.google.com/permissions, find “DJ Comp 1”, and click “Remove Access”.
